"Ladder Association supports HSE Ladder Exchange initiative"

HSE Launches Ladder Exchange

HSE and Local Authority inspectors will be looking at safe ladder use in September 2008. The HSE have a simple message to ladder users. "Don't let a dodgy ladder shatter your life"

From 1 September 2008 the Ladder Association is actively supporting the HSE's latest initiative to reduce accidents as the result of a fall from a ladder. Ladder Exchange 2008 highlights the risks associated with "dodgy" ladders and provides employers with the chance to exchange these for new ones at discounted prices. The campaign message is clear:

Choose the right ladder for the job and...
                                                                          ...
inspect it to make sure it's safe to use!

Leeds, Thursday 10 July 2008:
